GL2 was founded in 1995 by designer, animator and software architect Anthony Anthamatten. The name came about while considering a computer network to support the technologies developed by his first company, GrafxLab.

In the early days of the Internet, GrafxLab was creating technology that scared Internet service providers. The ISP's in those days were new to the business of technology. They were happy to be offering dial-up access while GrafxLab was saying, "We'd like to run this Perl script on your server". To which they replied, "You wanna what?"

GL2 Is Born

GrafxLab, founded in 1992 by Anthony Anthamatten, was focused primarily on creating multi-media, 3D animation and technology design such as touch-screen kiosks, laptop presentations, and streaming video.

As technology began to mature GrafxLab outgrew it's name. Through expansion, GL2 Corporation was established as the parent company to manage the brands GL2, GrafxLab, GL2sdg, and GL2.Network.

Today GL2 is focused on developing innovative technology solutions for business. Our combined skills in design, programming, and network security and implementation, it is easy to understand our slogan is "Designed. Programmed. Networked."
